Offering a vintage hand carved rosewood rickshaw with coolie driver and lady passenger.
This item measures 10" In length and 3" in width. The spoked wheels turn freely and the coolie driver can be detached and the rickshaw set down.
The piece is nicely detailed with even the seat cushion and the folds of the accordion top carved in.
The lady has a hole in each hand to hold something. I am sure she had an umbrella because the carved cap is still present (seen on ground next to rickshaw) but the stick that held it up is gone. She may have held flowers in her other hand.
One of the short peg legs beneath the front of the carriage has been replaced.
Painted or branded on the bottom of the rickshaw is: Made in China.
