Offering an antique ten volume set of the works of William Makepeace Thackeray.
This set was published in 1887 by Hooper, Clarke & Co. of Chicago, and this is the Imperial Edition.
The book are in reasonable condition for their age. They measure 5 1/4" X 7 3/4". The pages are yellowed but all there.
Inside the books, only one page is torn. It is the front page illustration of Pendennis and I have shown it in the photos.
The outer boards are covered in red cloth, and the spines in what I think is leather. One spine cover is missing the top portion and another two are half torn. The spines are solid just the covering is torn.
These books are 126 years old and a bit beat up on the outside but still very readable on the inside. Sold as is.
