Offering a full color, framed, antique lithograph of the Tom Browne cartoon: Fighting Dutchmen.
Tom Browne (1870 - 1910) was a famous cartoonist - caricaturist - painter and illustrator of the Victorian and Edwardian era.
This cartoon has a copyright date of 1902 in one corner and Tom Browne's signature in print, on the other.
The visible part of the lithograph measures 14 1/2" X 10 1/2". It is set into a wood frame and the whole thing measures 14 1/2" X 18 1/2".
The work is in great condition for it's age (111 years). There is a water spot on the paper, right below the artist's name. Otherwise, the colors are still vibrant and there are no tears, or bug holes, etc.
The wood of the frame is old and chipped in places but still solid. The back is covered with old wood planks that are nailed in place.
