Offering a charming piece, of antique, Art Nouveau table or shelf, decor glass. I have seen these referred to as Victorian curios, and they well may be, as those two periods overlapped.
The base is a wire branch that measures some 7" in curved length. Attached to its various stems are three, molded glass leaves, and five, curling, blown glass vines.
The metal wires that form the branch and it's stems, have been neatly wrapped round in silver thread.
There are some small, sliver chips on the edges of the leaves, but nothing that breaks form. These leaves are so detailed there are veins running through them.
There is also some greenish oxidation on the bits of wire not covered with silver thread. The glass vines have no chips and are solid free form blown.
