This beautiful Art Deco bar pin or brooch is made of sterling silver. The Guilloche textured design shines through the translucent white and soft green enamel.
Each side has an unusual art nouveau pattern crafted with the silver by someone's talented hands. In the center are hand-painted pink roses with green leaves. There is slight paint loss on the roses that can be seen with a loop, otherwise is in very nice condition. Judging by the design I would estimate that it was made in the 1920s or 30s.
It measures 2 1/2" long. The back has a simple c-clasp and is marked "Sterling". It has no maker's mark. I did not polish it, so the silver has darkened with age, but can be polished if you so desire.
