Here's a beautiful well made 14k gold and pearl bangle. The pearl is a blister pearl and measures 3/8" by 3 /16" and it has a lovely luster. The bangle has very good weight - it's 18.7 grams or 11.8 pennyweights. The inside of the bangle has an opening of 2 1/4" by 1 7/8" - the outside of the bangle is 2 5/8" by 2 3/8". The clasp shuts well and has a tiny safety chain. There are European touch marks in a couple of places but they are hard to make out, but the piece is clearly European. The gold is twisted all around the bangle creating an unusual look.
The condition is very good for its age - it was made about 75 years ago I would say. The only small point is a very minute bit of soldier for some reason on the inside of the bangle to the left of the setting for the pearl - you can just make it out on the second to last photo and it is in fact very hard to see.
This bangle is a very wearable and very easy to like - it's a beautifully crafted understated piece.
