Here's a handsome Scotch agate stickpin from the late 19th century made in Scotland and in a shield shape. It has 2 agate stones - the top is carnelian and the bottom is bloodstone and it is set in sterling silver. The whole pin is 2 5/8" long and the shield is just under 1/2" long. The shape is very smart looking and there is a squiggle of hand engraving between the stones. The condition is very good.
Great for a tie cravat or lapel.
