This little butter pat was offered by a great old shop in Wilmington, Delaware. Grace Lloyd Collins was the name of the shop and also the name of its owner who sold fine gifts and fine china to a select clientele starting in 1925.
On the back the plate says - "To wish you Merry Christmas". It is also marked "Copeland Spode England" and on the bottom "Grace Llyod-Collins. On the front is a scene of what looks like ruins of an old gothic church with a bridge over a river and lots of trees. It's blue and white transferware, and has a lovely pie crust border. A very charming little gift idea.
