Here's a charming spatterware bowl made in Staffordshire, England in the 1890's. It measures 6 1/4" in diameter across the top, 3 1/4" high, and the diameter of the base is 3 1/2". The bottom has Staffordshire pottery coat of arms mark as well as a mark for "Macy" in a star shape. The hand painting is a floral design and there's a line of red around the inside of the bowl.
The bowl is in very good condition - only the slightest flecks of discoloration. A really sweet bowl for a country setting.
This exciting store is an eclectic "Curiosity Shop" for the Lover of wonderful old things.
Lots of variety and a wide range of prices is what we offer. I think it's more fun that way!
