Here's a superb piece of children's cutlery - part of a child's youth set (knife, fork and spoon) first made in 1900. It was a 3 piece set that included 2 other fairy tale characters. Red Riding Hood (the knife), Little Bo Peep (the fork ) and one other character. Beautifully detailed, heavy weight (the knife is 7 6/8" long and 76.8 grams in weight). It is in excellent condition and has a full set of early marks on the blade - "Tiffany & Co Makers Sterling" and the date letter - "C". The "C" was used from 1092 to 1907. It has wonderful detail showing Riding Hood with her cape and basket as she encounters the wolf. The back of the knife shows Riding Hood's back with a tree behind her and more wonderful detail. These great early pieces of Tiffany are so easy to appreciate, the quality is just amazing.
This exciting store is an eclectic "Curiosity Shop" for the Lover of wonderful old things.
Lots of variety and a wide range of prices is what we offer. I think it's more fun that way!
