Here's a charming antique locket fit for a doll of quality. It's 5/16" in diameter. It has a little etched starburst design engraved on top with a tiny faceted ruby in the center. Inside it is marked 10k and has a maker's initials as well - they look like "R. M. Co". It is a little hard to read. I am including the little chain (most likely gold filled) which was on it when I got it.
The overall condition is very good. Inside are 2 bezels to hold 2 tiny pictures. One of the bezels is slightly bent but you can still get it in and out. I showed a photo without the bezels and with them. Often the bezels are missing so it's nice that they are still there.
Dating from around 1900 this is a great and rare doll accessory. You better buy this wonderful piece or your doll may never forgive you.
