Here's a Late 19th or early 20th century Satsuma vase from Japan. It is 12 3/4" tall and covered in a complex design with a heavily applied finish. The shape is urn like - but very unusual. The scalloped opening, the dragon topped handles, and the 7 male figures make it wonderfully different. The surface has superficial crackling in the glaze as one would expect. Overall the condition is very good with only one very tiny chip on the rim of the base, hard to even see. The paint is all there and the colors are pleasingly muted. It is signed by hand on the base in red.
