Here's a shamrock that even has a piece of the rock in its center. This 2" by 2" brooch or pin is from around the 1950's. It's made of hard plastic and has a metal pin on the back, and the stone is an actual stone! The piece is in very good condition - however, there is some glue showing around the stone. It is just how they made it.
I have noticed that some of the mid century souvenirs from Blarney castle included a piece of stone from the grounds of Blarney Castle where the famous Blarney stone is. This certainly looks like one of those souvenirs. In any case, it is guaranteed to bring you the luck of the Irish this St. Patrick's Day and you should feel free to add some of your own Blarney to the story.
