Here's an adorable child's book from 1909 called "Little One's Toys". Published by Saalfield's Muslin Books of Akron, Ohio. This cloth book has such great illustrations of children at play well over 100 years ago. The inner pages have such crisp images and the outside also remains in nice condition for its years. The top and bottom edge has a few loose threads, but overall the condition is very good. The book measures 5 1/2" by 4 1/2". It's great to see the boys playing with a beautiful automobile toy or a row of toy soldiers. The girls do the washing the hard way and play with wonderful dolls. On the back is a sweet poem from the publisher: "They may be washed And the colors will not run. A child can chew them and have lots of fun." Who could ask for anything more?
This exciting store is an eclectic "Curiosity Shop" for the Lover of wonderful old things.
