A rare Royal Commemorative mug of H.R.H. Princess Mary commemorating the opening of a War Memorial at Cottage Hospital, Whitby & District (Northern England), November 18th 1925. Princess Mary, the only daughter of King George V and Queen Mary, was known for the "Princess Mary Boxes" given to soldiers during WW1. She is a minor royal and therefore there were less pieces made in her honor, so this is a rare find. The mug is in very good condition and measures 3 1/4" high x 3 3/8" diameter.
