Here's a wonderful Georgian ring with a hand carved shell cameo of a bearded man, perhaps meant to be Aristotle. The ring is gilt metal and has detailing around the front rim. It's about a US size 8. It's 1" tall by a little over 3/4" wide. The condition is good and shows its age the way it should. I love on an index finger or middle finger, but it looks very good however you wear it. A very hard to find piece.
