Pair of Elegant Gorham Sterling Silver Candlesticks

Here's a very attractive pair of sterling silver candlesticks by Gorham. They date from around the mid century. They are 9 3/8" high and the base is 4 1/4" in diameter. They have a lovely classic shape accented by what's called gadroon borders on the top and towards the bottom. They are sterling silver and are weighted inside as many of these types of candlesticks are. This extra weight gives them more stability. They weigh about 2 1/2 pounds. They are marked Gorham, and sterling, and # 675 on the base, along with the note that they are weighted. The condition is very good with only the slightest signs of wear.
