This exciting store is an eclectic "Curiosity Shop" for the Lover of wonderful old things.

Here's a really beautiful sterling silver creamer or cream jug by Kirk & Son showing the amazing repousse work they were known for. What a lot of wonderful hand work is in this jug - hand chasing all this complex floral design. It is 3" tall at the tallest point top of the handle. The cup with out the handle is 2 1/2" high. It weighs 96.2 grams. It is marked at the base "Kirk & Son" and the ounce size is hard to read. It dates to the late 19th century - circa 1890's.
I had another similar jug, just a tad larger, so happy to have another - they don't come up very often.
