Here are two wonderful brass cut out horses with saddles and bridles. They are gilded solid brass and date from the late 19th century. At one point they were mounted on a backing and they could easily but mounted again on board or the like. They can also just be placed in interesting ways anywhere you like. They are slightly different sizes - they measure 8 1/4" long by 8" high and 8 1/4" long by 7 1/8" high. I'm measuring at the widest points on each.
I love the detail on each horse and even on the patches of ground they stand on. The stirrups are joined on separately with a rivet.
