Here's an adorable pair of children's cowboy boots made in the 50's or 60's by Neolite. They were clearly never worn and may very well have been made for display for shoe shops, or a salesman's sample. They don't have a size inside, which makes me think they were samples. On the bottom of the right boot is a Parents' Magazine seal of approval - "Commended by Parents' Magazine as Governed Therein". The word "governed" is hard to read - I think it's right, But it's the approval for certain.
They measure 5 1/2" high and are 6" long. They are made of leather. They are black with white inset, and orange and white stitching. The pulls on the top are orange and black.
These little boots are in excellent condition. The soles show no wear at all. They are great for display.
NOTE - I don't think these should be worn at all - they wouldn't be comfortable for any little feet - but they would be appreciated greatly on a shelf.
