Here's a wonderful mid-19th century child's Staffordshire mug. It 3" high and is 3" in diameter. The transfer design was hand painted and the condition of the mug is really nice - no cracks or chips - especially good for it's great age. The scene entitled "Breeze" is so charming, the wind depicted as a cherub is blowing the tri-cornered hat off the boy and the girl is leaning into the wind as well with the make-shift banner she's playing with. The mug is over 150 years old, so who will step forward and take care of it the next step of the way.
This exciting store is an eclectic "Curiosity Shop" for the Lover of wonderful old things.
