Children's Pottery Staffordshire Mug - Children Playing in the "Breeze"Children's Pottery Staffordshire Mug - Children Playing in the "Breeze"Children's Pottery Staffordshire Mug - Children Playing in the "Breeze"

Here's a wonderful mid-19th century child's Staffordshire mug. It 3" high and is 3" in diameter. The transfer design was hand painted and the condition of the mug is really nice - no cracks or chips - especially good for it's great age. The scene entitled "Breeze" is so charming, the wind depicted as a cherub is blowing the tri-cornered hat off the boy and the girl is leaning into the wind as well with the make-shift banner she's playing with. The mug is over 150 years old, so who will come forward and take care of it the next step of the way.
