This wonderful Maxfield Parrish Florentine Fete’ is in it’s Original Frame. I have found differing dates for this work but many more for C.1916. Done as a mural, it was originally painted for the ‘Girls Dining Room' at the Curtis Publishing Company in Philadelphia. The colors are excellent, not faded. Please note this is in my opinion a cut out from the Ladies Home Journal. They apparently used this on one of their covers in the 1920s. I do guarantee it is an old piece including the frame.
DIMENSIONS: 11 1/8” X 7”
CONDITION:The print and the frame are both in very good vintage condition. The back has the original nails securing the original cardboard. It is necessary for the health of print that this cardboard be replaced by acid free foam core, and museum paper. I would also replace the glass with museum glass.
