This German Sewing Box in itself is so lovely. It is brass and pressed. The top has a Castle on a hill sitting above a town of many roof tops. It is lined in an olive silk velvet fabric. I found this box inside a much larger box with a few interesting pieces and a lot of just stuff. I have included a few of those pieces. One of them is a partially finished pillow top. There is enough done on it that you might find a fun use for it. Inside the brass box there is an early green gro- grain ribbon tape measure, an old package of needles and a bone, snowflake shaped thread winder.
