I am pleased to offer this Antique Blue Willow Covered Vegetable Dish, made by John Steventon Circa 1920. This John Steventon mark was used between 1923-1936. It has the much desired open feather style finial not the closed handle style. This style is also known as the pumpkin stem. As is so typical of printed transfers this one is not perfect. It overlaps in several areas and does not match up in others. It really is one of the charms of transfer wares, like the humans who made them, none are "perfect."
DIMENSIONS: the underside of the lid is 7 ¾" square, the base is 10" handle to handle and 9" across the other side with no handles. Together they are 6 ¾" tall when the lid is on, the dish itself is just about 2 ½" deep
CONDITION: no chips, cracks or other problems noted. Ready to use and enjoy.
