I could not be any more delighted to offer you this Vintage 1962 Paper Santa Door Cover from Sears Roebuck and Co. It was found in an attic in norther New Hampshire rolled up in a heavy paper tube. I suspect given the condition, it’s been rolled up for decades. Santa has his arms out in a welcoming gesture for you to come in and enjoy the holidays at this home. I just can’t imagine there are many of these left in existence. They made those throw away plastic one shortly after this time period. If you’re a Santa collector or a merry Christmas family this is a must have. I invite you to enjoy all of my Holiday listings.
PLEASE NOTE: we had to photograph Santa outside. We used a pvc pipe with string and a long nail into the ground to hold him down. He really has been in this tube for a long time.
DIMENSIONS: 6’ 3” X approximately 3’ wide
CONDITION: the vast majority of this piece is in excellent condition. There are areas at the corners and middle edge where you can see the holes from tacks used to hang him on the door. Any "damage" is strictly on the corners and outside edge. I would love to see someone frame this and used him inside their home.
This item is Large. I will pack it carefully and then invoice you with the postal charge.
