This very handsome set of English Potosi Silver High Tea Spoons, Seven Pieces are done in the Fiddle Head Pattern. Potosi Silver Co. was located in Birmingham England circa 1890s. All the marks, including Potosi silver, are trademarks for various types of nickel silver alloys. These were the fore runners of stainless steel. Generally this ware holds up well to use. Given these spoons are 100 years old they show very little wear. Very nice size a bit more diminutive than a regular teaspoon, perfect for desserts, they have the weight of heavier American coin silver.
DIMENSIONS: 5” long X 1 1/16” across bowl
CONDITION: Very nice vintage condition I have lightly polished it but polishing silver is not my way to zen so it could stand another polishing.
