This lovely Massachusetts Coin Silver Mustard Spoon was made by Newell Harding, circa 1810 to 1830. Newell Harding coin silver mustard spoon during his early years in Haverhill Mass., 1810 – 1830. After 1830 his work was done in Boston and was marked N. Harding and Co. This is a lovely fiddle head style spoon which was engraved LC. Rainwater, "Encyclopedia of American Silver Manufacturers," ©1986. I have a large and wonderful collection of early New England coin silver. DIMENSIONS: 3 5/8” long x 7/8” wide across bowl
CONDITION: The bowl is slightly out of round. I have lightly polished it but polishing silver is not my way to zen so it could stand another polishing.
