This nice American Coin Silver Mustard Spoon was made Circa 1850.This lovely mustard spoon is simply marked in block lettering JDP. It MAY have been made by John Price of Newark, NJ circa 1840-1860. It is engraved on the handle in very fancy period script LH (I believe) The bowl has a nice tip to it, more like a ladle than flatter spoon. It’s perfect for use in a mustard pot. Rainwater, "Encyclopedia of American Silver Manufacturers," ©1986. I have a large and wonderful collection of early New England coin silver. If you would like to see all of it, key in coin silver in the search bar at the top right hand side of this page. Click on Bonnie Boswell Antiques and my silver will all come up for you.

DIMENSIONS: 4 1/8” long x 1” wide bowl

CONDITION: I have lightly polished it but polishing silver is not my way to zen so it could stand another polishing.
