This Boston Coin Silver Teaspoon by Lincoln and Foss was made Circa 1850. This lovely teaspoon is engraved on the back side M.A. and is the early fiddle head pattern. Reference Guide used: Rainwater, "Encyclopedia of American Silver Manufacturers," ©1986. I have a large and wonderful collection of early New England coin silver. If you would like to see all of it, key in coin silver in the search bar at the top right hand side of this page. Click on Bonnie Boswell Antiques and my silver will all come up for you.
DIMENSIONS: 5 ¾” long
CONDITION: Lovely condition save several tiny pin point marks on the bow. I have lightly polished it but polishing silver is not my way to zen so it could stand another polishing.
