We are pleased to offer this Vintage Mandolin Food Slicer, Hand Hewn, Wooden Treenware made Circa 1900. It is a real Kitchen Country Collectible. This lovely mandolin food slicer - cutter looks to me to be hand hewn. To operate it you loosen the wing nut on the side to the desired thickness then tighten it. The blades are still sharp enough to cut and I do think it you wanted to you could use a steel to make them even sharper you could. This is a very good looking early kitchen primitive.
