I am so pleased to offer to you this Victorian German Cherub Rose Bowl, which is 19th Century Porcelain. The mark on this piece may be Meissen, the blue crossed swords. Please note photo. The quality of the piece and the painting indicate it may well be. No matter who made it, it has suffered some damage over the years. Please read condition statement below. This piece has graced my dresser for a long time. It is so endearing that it wasn't for several years that I even realized the damage to the wings. Love and Charm go a long way with me! The blossom on the front looks like a hydrangea to me.
DIMENSIONS: 4 ¾" tall max x approx. 6 ¼" wide max
CONDITION: There are several condition problems. One of the wings has been completely rebuilt, there is no final glaze on the wing. Several of the leaves and flower petals or chipped. I have one of the leaf chips that will be shipped with this piece. I have priced this wonderful little piece with this condition in mind.
