This nice selection of Victorian Hand Towels includes Three Pieces and is group number 3 in my inventory. I am listing a number of groups of vintage linens. I have so many full boxes, that the only way to sell them before I turn 600 is to do them in groups. Do take a look if your looking for Victorian hand towels, doilies, runners and the like. All of these pieces could use a laundering. I have noted condition on each piece. If you need more photos I will try to do better. Whites are not easy to photograph. I have done my best to describe each piece as to pattern, fabric, size and condition.
This group has a variety of fabrics including:
#1 Lovely very white damask with a leaf pattern woven into the fabric around the entire edge 4 sides, The interior is polka dots. It measures 35" long x 18 5/8" wide. No stains, good condition
#2 measures 33" long x 18" wide a nice huck fabric with a geometric diamond pattern woven into the ends. There are a couple of VERY light small stains, I didn't even notice them until I held the towel to the light.
#3 measures 40" including the fringe x 17" wide. Very white towel with 2 pink stripes above the cotton fringe. The stripes and fringe are on one end only. The other end has a loop that one used to hang the towel The towel is in good to very good condition.
