We are so delighted to offer to you this,English Aesthetic Movement made by Copeland in Brown and White glaze. This Platter is their Cairo Pattern Made in Staffordshire England it dates to circa 1885. The pattern features a lovely and fun snowflake type pattern to the rim with an unfurled Japanesque scroll featuring a water lily water pond and a village against the oasis. Surrounding all this are cherry blossoms and a ribbon of flowers. We just love these "busy" Aesthetic patterns.
DIMENSIONS: 11 ¾” X 9”
CONDITION: Very nice vintage condition, not even a knife bite on the top. The underside does have some minor staining.
