Bradbury M Bailey Vermont Coin Silver Serving Shovel Engraved Handle
This particularly lovely serving shovel is engraved on the handle JER. Dates to approximately 1840. Bradbury M Bailey Ludlow and Woodstock Vermont born 1824 died 1913 Brother in law of Roswell Bailey of Woodstock, he worked as a silversmith in Ludlow before moving to Rutland in 1852. Business was closed in 1885.

DIMENSIONS: (handle) 6 ¼” long x (shovel) 1 ¾” x 1 ¼”
CONDITION: No repairs or removals, this piece is in lovely condition. I have lightly polished it but polishing silver is not my way to zen so it could stand another polishing.
