A J Beatty Opalescent Waffle Or Honeycomb Toothpick Holder
This waffle or honeycomb, blue opalescent toothpick holder, was made by A J Beatty circa 1888 - 1895. This color and pattern are considered very hard to find. This piece has an excellent lavender/purple tint to it. According to William Heacock author of the Encyclopedia of Victorian Opalescent Glass this is a difficult pattern to obtain due to the “short run” by the maker. This is a really pretty piece of glass, you will not be disappointed.
