Coin Silver Dessert - Childs Size Fork Fiddle Head Pattern
The mark on the back side of this fork is HB & S and BP in an oval . It looks like a British mark to me but I have not been able to track it down. The pattern is old, fiddle head. It came in a very large collection of early coin silver I recently purchased. I do believe this is an old piece. Reference Guide used: Rainwater, "Encyclopedia of American Silver Manufacturers," ©1986.
DIMENSIONS: 6 ¾” long possibly a child’s fork?
CONDITION: I have lightly polished it but polishing silver is not my way to zen so it could stand another polishing.
