Queen Bess Silver Plate 1946 Pastry Server
Queen Bess is one of the most popular of the post WW2 patterns. A time when so many couples were setting up homes and giving rise to the baby boom generation. This pattern was also called Tudor. This piece is a pastry server, it has a very pretty cut work open pattern. The floral pattern on the handle is so 1940’s – 50’s. A mid century pattern.
DIMENSIONS: 9 ½” long x 2 14” across the widest area of the serving platform
CONDITION: I have lightly polished it but polishing silver is not my way to zen so it could stand another polishing.
