It is marked simply with an incised CHINA on their bottoms. It appears to be handmade and are glazed in traditional colors of yellow, brown and green. He is marked simply with an incised CHINA. He has suffered some amount of damage. This style of mud men were made to use in Bonsai display. They were not made as delicate shelf decor. This mud man is old and has great character despite the minor damage. DIMENSIONS: 6 ½" tall CONDITION: his thumb is missing, there is a missing small area near his right foot, rough area on the right hand sleeve. I can't tell if his head was made in a separate piece and applied or it was one piece.
