Sculptural and reminiscent of the Art Deco period, this vintage tanzanite and 14k rose gold ring has a striking geometric design. Unusual and bold, it was created in the 1980s and is likely an artisan piece. The ring falls between a size 8 and 8.5 and weighs 19.5 grams of 14k gold. The tanzanite weighs approx.* 3.85ct and is a beautiful shade of vivid blue with with an occasional flash of purple. The photography lights somewhat change the colors of the ring, but the tanzanite is distinctly blue and the metal is rose gold, not yellow. The front of the ring measures 3/4" wide at the very front from the tip at the top to the top of the indentation and 1" wide from the tip at the top to the very bottom of the ring. The band at the back measures 3/16" wide. The interior is marked 14k, along with an indecipherable signature.
*approximation is due to the fact that the stones are mounted and exact measurements and weights can not be determined.
