A lovely coral cabochon is the crowning beauty on this beautiful Art Deco diamond ring. The filigree mounting encircles the coral at the base with a geometric design of diamond shapes accented with diamonds. There are approx.* 0.67cttw in single cut diamonds. The ring falls between a size 6 3/4 and 7 on the mandrel. Originally this ring had a narrower platinum shank, which was widened using 14k white gold when its ring size was enlarged. The beautiful design of the original shank was perfectly preserved in the process. Assayed as predominantly platinum, it is 14k white gold at the back and on the edges of the shank. Total weight of the ring is 6.4 grams. The coral is a lovely medium shade and measures 7/16" in diameter, standing 3/8" off the finger. In good vintage condition, this unusual Art Deco ring will carry you gracefully from day into evening.
*approximation and estimation are due to the fact that the stones are mounted and exact measurements cannot be taken.
