With so many Art Deco architectural characteristics, this dynamic bracelet is an outstanding work of art! Setting off the beautifully worked panels are 5 pyramid cabochon-cut black onyx stones. The panels in which the stones are bezel- set are engraved on the yellow gold sides and the 4 corners. This detail accents the chevron-motif of white gold textured and polished lines which completes these panels.
The alternating panels repeat the engraved sides and corners as well as the white gold chevron design but in the center are lovely filigree plaques which provide a perfect lightness to the dimensional sides which flank it. From the back of the bracelet, these pretty pierced panels look something like a snowflake.
Two hallmarks appear on the tongue of the clasp, one is PJ in a round cartouche and the other is undescipherable. The quality and overall appearance of this bracelet is impressive. If a picture dictionary were to exist, this bracelet could be selected for the definition of Art Deco.
