An exquisite creation from renowned Swiss jeweler Paul Binder, the design of this green tourmaline and diamond bangle bracelet in 18k white gold is reminiscent of the Art Deco period. Elegant and sophisticated, this bangle is quite comfortable on the wrist and an eminently wearable piece of jewelry. Paul Binder loved to use exceptional stones, which is evident in the quality of the tourmaline and diamonds used in this beautiful bracelet. Born in 1927, Paul Binder came into his own in the second half of the twentieth century, during which time this bracelet was made.
The tourmaline is approx. 12.62ct* (17.5mm by 12.35mm by 9.6mm) and is a luscious shade of deep green. Accented with approx. 2.67cttw* in sparkling diamonds with VVS clarity and GHI color, they perfectly complement the center stone. The bracelet measures 1” at the widest point and 1/8” at the narrowest in the back. Total weight is 31.6 grams. The interior diameters are 2 3/16” by 1 13/16”, which will fit an approx. 6 1/2” wrist. The interior is marked Paul Binder, 750, with the Binder mark. In excellent vintage condition, this breathtaking bracelet is certain to attract attention wherever it goes.
*approximation is due to the fact that the stones are mounted and exact weights can not be determined.
