Sparkling and rich in color, this lovely 3-stone ring is a delight to behold. A very pretty cushion-cut ruby is a beautiful red color. The two hand-cut diamonds are nicely matched to set off the center ruby.
The design feature is a subtle by-pass ring wherein each diamond by passes the ruby in the center. The diamonds are terminally set on separate ring bands, giving the overall appearance of a parallel ring shank.
Based on the antique cuts of the stones, the date is believed to be Edwardian, circa 1910-1920.
The ruby measures *approximately 3.45mm and the diamonds measure *approximately 3,.50 mm with a total diamond weight of *approximately 0.30-0.35 carats. The *approximate weight of the ruby is 0.18 carats.
In 14k yellow gold, this lovely ring is size 5 ¾ and it weighs 2.1grams.
*approximation is due to the fact that the stones are mounted and exact weights can not be determined.
