19th Century Pet Lamb Mug Shepherdess Luster Circa 1830 - image 1 of 12

This wonderful, small, pink luster mug was produced in Sunderland, England during the 19th century, circa 1830. This footed mug features the most vibrant pink lustre that has the most perfect shine after nearly 200 years. The mug features a puce (purple) transfer printed design, one side depicts a Shepherdess with her lamb. The remaining side features just the little lamb.

This charming mug is perfect for anyone who loves early English pottery. It works beautifully with folk art and primitives upon your dresser.

Measuring: Width including handle 4.5 inch (11.5 cm) by height 3.25 inch (8.5 cm).

Condition: Small old chip to rim. Hairline to interior. Natural crazing to glaze and some old water staining to interior of mug. All commensurate with age.
