This lovely tea cup was produced by Coalport during the early 19th century, circa 1810. The cup is of ‘bute’ shape and features the most decorative hand painted design in the Imari colours. We love the little birds and the rich gilding over the cobalt blue ground. This is English porcelain at its finest. This is the perfect item for anyone who loves birds, all things Regency or has a passion for early English porcelain.

Please see our collection of 18th and 19th century art and antiques listed separately in our store.

Measuring: Width including handle 3 7/8 inch (10 cm) by height 2.25 inch (5.8 cm).

Condition: Wear to gilded rim and handle.
