This is such a pretty Victorian painting which will work beautifully in any home, old or modern. This French circa 1900 still life oil painting depicts a vibrant grouping of Roses and Tulips displayed in a blue vase. We particularly like the colorway, it reminds us of the art used on bargeware or toleware or French enamelware. The painting is housed behind glass in a decorative antique birds eye maple frame and is ready to hang and admire.
Measuring: Frame width 9 5/8 inch (24.5 cm) by height 11.5 inch (29 cm). Aperture width 5 7/8 inch (15 cm) by height 7.75 inch (19.5 cm).
Condition: Some age crazing to the oil on canvas as one would expect. Two areas of veneer loss to top outer frame corner edges.
