This charming portrait miniature of a little girl was painted in England during the Regency era, circa 1810. The delightful little watercolor painting is on paper and features the sitter in profile view. She is seen wearing a dark blue dress with a coral necklace, in her hand she is holding out a pretty pink English rose. The painting is housed behind convex glass in its original small papier mache frame. We love the gilt bezel and gilt top hanger, what a quality piece.
This is a unique opportunity to own such a decorative little portrait. The portrait miniature will display excellently in any setting. Please see our collection of 18th and 19th century portrait miniatures and silhouettes listed separately in our store.
