This exceptional Georgian watercolor and pencil painting on card was produced in England during the 18th century. The watercolor depicts a female sitter wearing a turban, a popular fashion accessory for ladies during the period. The painting is housed behind old glass in the nicest 19th century gilt swept Gesso frame. The frame is very substantial, highly detailed and absolutely stunning. The combination of the delicate painting and the ornate gilt frame makes for a gorgeous combination. This piece will display excellently.
