This really is a stunning item. This decorative beadwork picture is entirely wrought in small glass beads; it was produced in France during the early 19th century, circa 1820. The beadwork depicts a classical style vase filled with an assortment of vibrant flowers. We love the way in which the needleworker has depicted the three dimensional nature of the vase by using varying degrees of blue glass beads. The glass beads are very small allowing for a detailed image with approximately 575 beads per square inch. The beadwork is housed behind old glass in its original veneer frame with a gilt slip; the frame really suits the piece. The beadwork also retains its original integrated red glass bead border which really completes the look. This is a unique opportunity to own such a quality beadwork, the artwork will display excellently in any setting.
