This exquisitely decorative porcelain cup and saucer was produced in England during the 19th century, circa 1830. The very pretty cup and saucer was produced by Ridgway, a quality English porcelain manufacture. Each piece is decorated with detailed, vibrant hand painted floral sprays upon a light green ground, perfect for your spring/summer display. We love the additional dark green cartouches that surround the border; the gilding is of an excellent quality. The handle is one of the nicest types we have seen; it is such an intricate design. This is a scarce early piece of English porcelain by one of the best manufactures. Both pieces are marked with the fractional pattern number 2/2923.
Please see our collection of 18th and 19th century pottery and porcelain listed separately in our store.
